the problem with using these chemicals in such products mostly occurs when they start to break down. Some of these dyes break down into carcinogenic aromatic amines, thus a health hazard is created ehen they come un physical contact with the skin. The European Union has banned a small number of these dyes in products that come into skin contact. These dyes have one or more nitrogen-nitrogen double bonds.
