Astec CHIROBIOTIC™ Chiral HPLC Columns

CHIROBIOTIC phases, based on covalently bonded macrocyclic glycoproteins to high purity silica gel, offer stability while retaining essential components for chiral recognition. They are useful for LC-MS chiral applications and when reversed-phase solvents (methanol/water, acetonitrile/water) are preferred over normal phase solvents.

Astec CYCLOBOND™ Chiral HPLC Columns

These bonded cyclodextrin stationary phases have the ability to form inclusion complexes. They allow for chemical separations by selectively including a wide variety of organic molecules from solution into the cyclodextrin cavity. CYCLOBOND I columns are ß-cyclodextrin bonded and CYCLOBOND II are γ-cyclodextrin bonded.

Astec Cellulose DMP Chiral HPLC Columns

Cellulose DMP columns contain spherical, high-purity porous silica coated with DMPC (3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate)-derivatized cellulose. They separate a wide range of chiral compounds under normal phase, polar organic, and SFC conditions. Their performance is comparable to other DMPC-derivatized cellulose CSPs. These columns are available in both analytical and preparative sizes.

Astec Copper Ligand Exchange Chiral HPLC Columns

The Copper Ligand Exchange Columns (CLC) are useful for resolving hydroxy acids, amino acids, bi-functional racemates, and other amines. Coordination of the analytes with copper ions contributes to the desired enantiomeric resolution.

Protein-based Chiral HPLC Columns

The Chiral-AGP, Chiral-CBH, and Chiral-HSA protein-based chiral columns utilize natural proteins immobilized onto a silica support to provide enantiomeric selectivity. These columns are typically used in reversed-phase mode.

Astec Polycyclic Amine Polymer Chiral HPLC Columns (P-CAP, P-CAP-DP)

These chiral phases offer a bonding technology, primarily used in normal phase, for the separation of racemic compounds. Structural conformation and hydrogen bonding interactions are the driving mechanisms. Separations, including preparative, have been run in a variety of solvents including pure acetone, heptane/ethanol, dichloromethane/methanol and ethyl acetate.

Kromasil^® Chiral HPLC Columns

These cellulose and amylose-based chiral stationary phases are bonded to Kromasil^® premium spherical silica. They are compatible with HPLC, SFC and SMB.
