It's National Apprenticeship Week, and here at Greyhound, we are very fond of the apprenticeship programme. Countless members of our team began their journey with us as apprentices, and we take immense pride in nurturing their development as they progress further. We believe that hiring apprentices brings a fresh new perspectives to the workplace and is a great investment into hard working employees that you can assist in growing through the company.
Meet our Apprentices - Past and Present!
Adam Kitto
Adam started at Greyhound as an apprentice completing his warehousing NVQ, after just a short period of time with the company we put Adam on his IATA course to enable him to ship dangerous goods by air. Since then Adam has worked his way up to Logistics Manager / DGSA, completing an ADR course, an IMDG course, and a DGSA course, which enabled him to pass hsi DGSA examinations and become a qualified DGSA. We look forward to seeing Adam's next steps as he continues growing with the company.
Alexandra Wood
Alex began working at Greyhound as our Business Administration Apprentice, attaining a Level 3 qualification with Wirral Met College. Since then Alex has gone on to obtain her CIM Level 6 diploma in professional digital marketing and is now a mentor to our digital marketing coordinator, Katie. Alex is now completing her Level 4 CMI Leadership and Management course to further develop her skills in a managerial setting and assist our marketing team. We are excited for the rest of Alex's journey at Greyhound.
Katie Burns
Katie started at Greyhound as our Digital Marketing Apprentice, completing her level 3 business administration qualification with Wirral Met College and achieving a distinction. Katie has since been promoted to our Digital Marketing Coordinator, working alongside her mentor, Alex, our Marketing Executive. Katie is now completing her Level 5 Diploma in Digital Marketing to further her knowledge in all things digital! We look forward to seeing katie develop her skills further with the Greyhound team.
Sasha Stewart
Sasha is currently our Sales Order Processing Apprentice, working alongside Abigail our Customer Accounts Executive, assisting our orders team. Sasha is working on achieving her level 3 business administration certification with Wirral Met. We hope to see Sasha progress further with our company and can't wait to see her achieve her certificaiton with Wirral Met.
